The MWR Board of Directors is seeking nominations for the service, research, and early career awards. Nominating yourself or a colleague gives the board information to choose deserving awardwinners at every conference.
The MWR Service Award is given to an MT-BC living and/or working in the MWR that contributes notable service to the music therapy profession. This can include things like serving on AMTA committees, the MWR board of directors, conference planning committees, state task forces, serving on state and local music therapy organizations, or other roles pertaining to advocacy, education, and networking in music therapy.
The MWR Research Award is given to an MT-BC living and/or working in the MWR that meaningfully contributes to music therapy research.
The MWR Early Career Award is given to an MT-BC that is within their first 10 years in the profession and is currently living and/or working in the MWR, to be recognized for outstanding contributions to the field through clinical excellence, research, and/or advocacy.
